Launched to improve access to quality eye care for learners across South Africa, recognising the critical link between vision, confidence, and academic performance. The initiative provides free eye tests and prescription spectacles to learners who would otherwise be unable to access these essential services.
In line with our commitment to accessibility and dignity for all, the foundation launched a targeted wheelchair donation initiative focused on learners living with disabilities. By donating high-quality, durable wheelchairs we restore confidence, independence, and inclusion within the classroom.
Many learners face undiagnosed vision challenges that impact their ability to read, learn, and fully participate in the classroom. Gift of Sight by Black Coffee partners with eye-care professionals, schools and community organisations to identify vision impairments early and ensure learners receive the corrective support they need.
